Naim Amor
Yes...more French music. Traveling from France to Tucson, Arizona, Naim Amor (two dots over the "i") plays music of the rock fair. And just as France is quite a distance away from Tucson, his music is quite a distance away from the usual. His music is called "avant-garde", but I don't see it as such. Instead, wiith an expertise in guitar, Amor crafts a pop rock style that makes you want to get on a motorcycle and drive through the European countryside at 100mph, wooing women at every town.
And plus, he's collaborated with members of Calexico.

All right, here I am blogging. Back in Tucson after a month touring in France, i'm playing at home, Downtown, Red room,Plush...I try to keep the dates updated on myspace and my web site....
I just saw the show played at the Mainzer in Merced,CA and I LOVED it! I just wanted to thank you for coming to such a small town and for the new cd I am listening to.I had originally just gone to see my brother's band play, but I was surprised by how much I liked your music.
