Melon Galia's sound comes all the way from Belgium, a land full of history, culture, and life. Such is MG's sound: diverse, introspective, serious, and fun. Everytime I listen to 'em, I feel nostalgic. It's a beautiful band, a beautiful sound. So please go and listen.

Beirut

Beirut has been talked about extensively through every blog, but I still feel I should mention Beirut. Headed by a 19 year old ( I think ), this band reignites my belief that young'ns can make good music. That makes me happy. On the music itself, it's inspired by Gypsy music, so don't expect the Futureheads. Expect classicalish.
